Roadmap keys, item keys and links: how do they work?
Roadmap keys#
RM-1, RM-2, RM-3. Keys aresequential per product, and they never change — renaming a roadmap does not
change its key, so shared links keep working.

What happens with a bad link#
product — takes you to that product’s roadmap list rather than showing an error
page. If a link someone sent you lands on the list, the roadmap was probably
deleted, or the link points at a different product.
Item keys are per product#
OBJ-1, OPP-2, SOL-1, EP-3, FE-2. The number is unique within aproduct, so
EP-1 exists in every product and means something different ineach. On an organization roadmap, always read a key together with its product —
the all-products view labels every lane with its product for exactly this reason.
