What Data gets Imported?#

Prerequisites#

Freshdesk Domain: Your helpdesk URL (e.g., mycompany.freshdesk.com or just mycompany).

API Key: A secure key to allow Shorter Loop to access your data.
Step 1: Get your Freshdesk API Key#

Log in to your Freshdesk account.
2.
Click on your Profile Picture in the top-right corner.

You will see your API Key on the right side. Copy it.
Step 2: Connect in Shorter Loop#
1.
Go to Integrations in Shorter Loop.
3.
Enter your Freshdesk Domain (e.g., mycompany).
Real-Time Updates (Smart Webhooks)#
Shorter Loop uses "Webhooks" to receive updates the moment a ticket is created or updated in Freshdesk.Automatic Setup (Recommended)#
When you click Connect, Shorter Loop will attempt to automatically configure these rules in your Freshdesk account for you. If successful, you're done!Manual Fallback (If Auto-Setup is restricted)#
Some Freshdesk plans restrict third-party apps from creating automation rules. If the automatic setup fails, Shorter Loop will generate a unique Webhook URL for you.If you see a Webhook URL after connecting:1.
Copy the Webhook URL provided by Shorter Loop.

In Freshdesk, go to Admin > Workflow > Automations > Ticket Updates.

Click New Rule, the Fill the form with right events Tickets, contacts, and accounts.
