Collapsing does not reorder the lane#
an opportunity sat above an epic before you spanned it, it still sits above it
after you collapse it again.
Note: if a collapse appears not to stick after a reload, check you did not
release the handle outside the board area — a drag released off-grid is
cancelled and the previous width is kept.
