For Product Managers, customer feedback often lives in siloed support tickets or sales notes within your CRM. The Shorter Loop Salesforce Integration breaks down these silos by creating a direct, one-way link from Salesforce to your product backlog.By syncing Salesforce Cases directly into Shorter Loop as Feedback Issues, you gain immediate visibility into customer pain points without needing a Salesforce license. Empower your product team to make data-driven decisions based on real customer evidence.
Why Integrate Salesforce?#
1. Centralize Customer Feedback#
Automatically convert support tickets (Cases) into actionable Issues within Shorter Loop’s Feedback Manager. No more copy-pasting or chasing down emails.2. Know Your Customer#
We don't just import the text; we bring the context. The integration syncs:Accounts → Organizations: See which companies are requesting features.
Contacts → Users: Identify the specific individuals behind the feedback.
3. Prioritize with Revenue Impact#
By linking feedback to actual Salesforce Accounts, you can easily see which features are requested by your highest-value customers, helping you prioritize high-impact roadmap items.
Data Mapping Overview#
Here is exactly how your Salesforce data appears in Shorter Loop:| Salesforce Object | Shorter Loop Element | Where to find it |
|---|
| Case | Issue | Feedback Manager |
| Account | Organization | User Management / Segments |
| Contact | User | User Management / Segments |
| Status | Salesforce Status | Issue Details |
This integration creates a one-way connection from Salesforce to Shorter Loop. Changes made to an issue in Shorter Loop will not change the original Case in Salesforce, preserving your support team's system of record.
