What Data Gets Imported?#

Setup Guide (Non-Technical)#
Prerequisites#

Active Zeda.io Workspace: Either trial or paid account.
2.
Admin Access: To generate the API auth key from workspace settings.
3.
Auth Key: A secure key to allow Shorter Loop to access your feedback data.
Step 1: Get Your Zeda.io Auth Key#

Click on the Workspace icon in the side navigation.
4.
In the side navigation, click on Public API.
5.
Copy the Auth Key displayed on the page.
💡 Keep it secure: This key provides access to your Zeda workspace data. Don't share it publicly.
Step 2: Connect in Shorter Loop#
1.
Go to Integrations in Shorter Loop.
3.
Paste your Auth Key in the provided field.
4.
Click Connect or Save Integration.
Step 3: Import Completes Automatically#
Once connected, Shorter Loop will:Fetch all feedback from your Zeda.io workspace
Create corresponding issues in your Feedback Manager
Display a summary showing how many items were imported
Important: One-Way Integration#
What This Means#
This is a one-way integration, meaning:✅ Feedback flows FROM Zeda.io TO Shorter Loop
❌ Changes in Shorter Loop do NOT sync back to Zeda.io
❌ Updates made in Zeda.io after initial import do NOT automatically appear in Shorter Loop
Why One-Way?#
Zeda.io's current Public API has some limitations:No Webhooks: Zeda.io doesn't notify Shorter Loop when feedback changes or new feedback is added.
No Contact/Company API: Customer and organization information isn't available through the current API.
This means the integration works best as an import tool rather than a continuous real-time sync.
Getting New or Updated Feedback#
Since Zeda.io doesn't support webhooks, changes won't automatically sync. Here's how to get updates:Disconnect and Reconnect (Recommended)#

Go to Integrations in Shorter Loop.

Find your Zeda.io integration.

Click Connect again and enter your Auth Key.
5.
The integration will re-import all feedback.
What happens when you reconnect:✅ New feedback items are added to Shorter Loop
✅ Existing items are updated with latest information from Zeda
✅ No duplicates are created (smart matching by feedback ID)
✅ Items deleted in Zeda.io remain in Shorter Loop (they won't be removed)
How Often Should You Reconnect?#
This depends on your workflow:Weekly: If you're actively collecting feedback
Monthly: For periodic updates
As Needed: When you know significant feedback has been added

Check Connection Status#

Disconnect Zeda.io#
