Setup Guide

Getting started takes less than a minute.

Get your Access Token:

Navigate to Settings > Integrations > API > Access Token.

Create a new token and copy it.

Connect to Shorter Loop:

Open your Shorter Loop Integration Hub.

Select Productboard.

Paste your Access Token into the field.

Click Save Integration.

That’s it! You will see a success message showing how many companies, users, and features were imported.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to manually set up webhooks in Productboard?
A: No! Unlike other tools, Shorter Loop automatically creates and manages the webhook for you when you save the integration.

Q: What happens if I disconnect?
A: We cleanly remove the connection details and strictly tell Productboard to stop sending us updates (we delete the webhook). Your imported data (Issues, Users) generally remains in Shorter Loop so you don't lose your history.

Q: If a user in Productboard doesn't belong to a company, where do they go?
A: We ensure no data is left behind. If a user is "orphaned" in Productboard, we will associate them with your primary imported organization in Shorter Loop so you can still track their feedback.
